One of the newest projects to come out of the studio is this set of handcrafted magnetic memo boards, framed with rocks, driftwood, shells, and sea glass found along the Maine coast. Each one comes together a little differently, depending on what materials are on hand and how they fit — no two boards look alike.
The process starts with a simple magnetic surface and builds from there. Some frames are more driftwood-heavy, others are lined with smooth stones or shells, and a few have pops of sea glass. There’s no template and nothing mass-produced here; the pieces really decide the layout themselves (and coming from someone who helped make one on a snowy afternoon, they’re SO fun!)
These boards are meant to be useful and beautiful at the same time. They’re great for holding notes, photos, postcards, recipes, or reminders you want to keep in sight. They fit naturally into kitchens, offices, entryways, or creative spaces, and they add a subtle coastal touch.
What makes them special is how personal they feel. You can see the craftsmanship and you can tell they were assembled with care. Once a board is finished, that’s the only one like it (my personal favorite is the rock-lined one where each rock has a line through it, so cool!)
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, Maine-inspired piece that’s both practical and unique, these magnetic boards are a lovely option. Reach out today to see what’s available!
